The Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines and Health Products (CCCMHPIE) last month led a delegation to the East African countries of Kenya and Tanzania from Sep. 13 to 19 during which it held in Kenya a seminar titled “Sino-Africa Drug Trade Cooperation – The Seminar on Chinese Medicinal Products”.

The delegation, which included 40 representatives of 25 enterprises, was intended to “propagate China’s significant achievements in pharmaceutical manufacturing and outstanding medical service and product standards and to set a standard and reliable framework for the co-operation and communication between Chinese and African enterprises”.
