Treatment and control of diseases sensitive to ivermectin parasites ( . Thelazia spp ) strongylosis gastrointestinal and respiratory thelaziose ocular myiasis ( warbles , lucille butcher ) , mange, lice, oestroses ( Oestrus ovis) - helps control infestations tick .
Activity . :
Albendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic which belongs to the group of benzimidazole derivatives and provides an action against a wide range of worms and at higher dosages , also against adult fluke in phase.
Ivermectin treats gastrointestinal infections, lung worm infections and infestations of lice and scabies œstriase calves and cattle.
Contraindications . :
Hypersensitivity to albendazole or ivermectin . The use of albendazole is contraindicated during the first 6 weeks of gestation.
Do not administer during the first 45 days of gestation in cattle , 30 days for sheep .
Side Effects . :
In the case of a treatment against Hypoderma on cattle, ivermectin can cause side effects by killing the larvae when they are in the region of vital organ. Larvae killed in the spinal canal can cause paralysis . Killed the larvae around the esophagus can induce salivation. These effects can be avoided by treating after the stages of development of the worm on the infected areas .
